Data Collection

In accordance with Section 800 of the NERC Rules of Procedure, SERC periodically collects data and information from registered entities to complete NERC Assessments and to satisfy requirements of various NERC Reliability Standards. Most Reliability Assessment data is submitted using the SERC Reliability Portal. Open this link to view a training module for the SERC Reliability Portal. Other tools used to gather information may include study group work, surveys, e-mail inquiries, etc.
