SERC provides an update on office status.

COVID Update

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, SERC’s Pandemic Response Team continues to meet regularly to discuss company operations related to the wellbeing and safety of our staff and stakeholders during this time.

Given the increased cases of COVID-19 in North Carolina, we want to inform you of the following adjustments that we have made to our re-opening plan.

  • Since January 14, 2021, SERC staff has returned to Phase 1.5, need based opening.
  • SERC staff will return to Phase II, which is a soft opening, the end of February, where returning to work is voluntary.
  • Phase 3 “Hard Opening” will be no earlier than June 1, 2021. This is a phased-in approach at getting all Charlotte employees back in the office. The Pandemic Team and the Office Re-opening Team will target a 45-day notice before moving into Phase III.

Your patience is greatly appreciated as we do our best to navigate these unusual times in a manner that prioritizes the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
