E-ISAC recently published Critical Broadcast Program All-Points Bulletin 20-05 (TLP: green) concerning electricity industry preparedness for the 2020 United States election

The Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) recently published Critical Broadcast Program All-Points Bulletin 20-05 (TLP: green) concerning electricity industry preparedness for the 2020 United States election.

The bulletin urges electricity industry security personnel, in coordination with their corporate communicators and operations personnel to, among other things, increase physical and cyber security posture, and maintain situational awareness of outages.

The bulletin also shares the link to a white paper prepared by the E-ISAC, the Elections Infrastructure-ISAC, and DHS Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency. The white paper, 2020 Election Threat Awareness and Preparedness White Paper and Executive Summary, provides an overview of the industry-specific threat and mitigation measures. In order to view the white paper you will need to log in to the E-ISAC website.

As always, maintain awareness of threats, especially those encouraging sabotage of electrical assets.
