SERC staff and industry subject matter experts will present up-to-date information on current topics of interest regarding compliance with NERC Reliability Standards and bulk power system reliability. Registered entity representatives are invited to attend the seminar either in person at the SERC office in Charlotte or via WebEx. An Introduction to Power System Protection Seminar (separate registration) is also scheduled for the afternoon following the Fall Compliance Seminar.

Introduction to Power System Protection
This event will be of interest to operations, transmission, compliance, and training staff of registered entities within the SERC Region.
- Review applicable updates to the 2017 CMEP Implementation Plan
- Explain new compliance program developments within the ERO
- Outline new and/or revised NERC Reliability Standards
- Present examples of good practices by registered entities within the SERC Region
- Conduct a Registered Entity Forum
To attend in Charlotte: Seating is limited, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is $75, and deadline date is October 14, 2016. Registration through the SERC website is required. Registration fees are not refundable. A credit is offered to attend a future SERC event.
To attend via WebEx: Free of charge and no registration is required. Participation in the Registered Entity Forum is not included via WebEx.
Agenda and WebEx log-on information will be posted to the SERC website by September 21, presentations by October 18, and the WebEx recording (minus the Registered Entity Forum segments) by October 20.
