Napoleon Johnson, Senior Director of Program Services

Napoleon Johnson is the Senior Director of Program Services. Mr. Johnson directs SERC’s business services, business process/risk assessment and technical resources departments. Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for all corporate services including all aspects of the finance function; the management information and IT systems; and the facilities management.

Brian F. Thumm, Senior Director of Compliance and Reliability

Brian F. Thumm, PE, is currently the Senior Director of Compliance and Reliability.  In this role, Mr. Thumm oversees the Compliance Monitoring, Entity Assessment, and Mitigation Plan functions of the SERC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Plan (CMEP). These functions include not only audits, self-certifications, and compliance investigations, but also Internal Risk Assessments (IRA) and Internal Controls Evaluations (ICE) which help inform the compliance monitoring function from an integrated risk perspective. Mr. Thumm also oversees the Reliability Assessment and Performance Analysis (RAPA) program which uses data collection and analysis to identify reliability risks within the SERC footprint.

Holly is the General Counsel for SERC and oversees the legal team along with providing strategic advice and counsel to the President and CEO. She also interfaces with NERC legal and regional legal representatives to develop new initiatives, review and advise on incoming FERC orders, among many other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position.

Erin Kwon is the Human Resources Director of SERC Reliability Corporation. Ms. Kwon is responsible for the smooth operation of SERC’s Human Resources department.  Ms. Kwon provides leadership on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, SERC’s budget, and employee relations.
